Rcvd, yet again, another contact off QTH.COM from an op wanting to purchase my item, no questions, no additional pic requests, etc., dude is like 87 years old, callsign about to expire, email on QRZ doesn't match the one sent...so, needless to say, will not be boxing up anything anytime soon...
Callsign is W6CIV...do your homework, do some gut searching if it doesn't feel right...

'Tis scary.

Folks robbed at gun point at a craigslist meet.

Dishonest employees you hand your credit card to at a restaurant.

Who can one trust?

Back to the paddle at 18.087MHz.

_ _ ... ... _ _

I don't bother much posting about scammers on QRZ, some self righteous folks feel obligated to take down a valid heed if they don't feel you have absolute proof one.  Doesn't matter much to me.  Lots of rip offs on there just as any where else, and the QSL card in the pic doesn't much help.    Feel free to take a chance, I don't and won't.

Say how would you like to buy my TS-450SAT for one-million dollars. (Dr. Evil).

It has one tiny problem on twenty meters...IT DOESN'T WORK RIGHT.

See my other post in Mods and repairs.

I did replace the two relays K-5 and K-12 of the twenty meter filter circuit and
two chokes L1 & L2 for the SWR/ALC sensing circuit.

We'll see this evening when I get home from work.

Back to the grind.

I have bought FAR more ham gear off Craigslist than any of the ham swap sites. I have yet to be scammed off CL. Most CL scammers/robbers concentrate on ads for high priced consumer electronics like smartphones and laptops. The swap boards seem to be overrun by mainly Nigerian scam rings. Labor is so cheap in Nigeria that con leaders can have whole buildings full of guys manning old castoff PC's from America, they simply send stuff out scattershot hoping for a bite.

Please delete my posting.  Once I have more info either way, will repost or move on.  Thanks
