This week on Amateur Radio Roundtable, join Katie Allen, Dave Casler, and me for a great show line up. Katie will be reporting about the ARRL Rocky Mountian Division and also her first try at working satellites from Yellowstone. Dave will answer questions, and Tom will give an update on prizes and also have some video from hamvention. See your shack pictures on the show. Watch the show on W5KUB.COM every Tues night at 8:00 PM Central time . Phone lines and chat room will be open for questions. This show is also simulcast on famous international shortwave station WBCQ on 5130 Khz. We invite you to join our ham facebook group at facebook.com/groups/w5kub (0100 UTC Weds)

Gotta be honest.. Tuned in to the website at 8p CDT (you did state "Central Time" and we are currently in CDT) and got... Shoutcast that didn't work.

Worse yet, tuned to WTWW online for Ted Randell and got...squat...til I found the HTML stream

I mean... really.. guys... How hard is it to do a Youtube Live Stream? Ditch all the java chat windows, special iPhone links, multiple format stream icons, etc. and do some internet radio a la 2017.

Key point here.... Listening to the internet stream should not be more difficult than ferreting out a 100w community radio signal on 4096 from Zimbabwe at 12 noon EST.

WBCQ is inaudible here 98% of the time.

WTWW, fortunately, is pretty strong mostly. Listening to it now on my own web controlled radio stream.

And W5KUB banned me for pointing out they need to get rid of all the silly 90's maze of links and Shoutcast and get with the program. This is 2017 guys. Point. Click. Play. There's a ton of services out there for literally free that use common codecs and work natively with all browsers.
