Kenneth said he only slept 90 minutes the night b4, and it was already 0230 local time.
Much more action when all antennas are up, I suppose.

But wouldn't you know that I don't have a 30m antenna  Cheesy I can't get the loop nor the dipole to work there...

Mason, 30m is almost insidious in that it is kind of "maximally non-resonant" with other ham bands.  For a lot of "multi-band" antenna designs, it may turn out to be even more of a compromise.

You have a nice fan dipole for 40/20/15 (say) and then 30 doesn't tune up with a darn.

You might find it prudent to put up a separate antenna for 30.  Worth it; lots of nice DX there and in the US, at least, nobody runs more than 200, so you are more competitive with a smaller antenna.

I currently am limited to a basic 1/4 wave vertical on 30.  Not what I want long term, but working lots of DX with it.

My 30m 1/4 wave vertical is a piece of wire, pulled up in a tree with, 4 elevated radials.

A beam would be nice, but it works very well.

There is at least one upload now from Somalia to LOTW.  Pretty impressive operation as far as data connectivity goes.  Now we can just hope things “propagate” for the USA.

Looks like they are back on the air on 14023 up 1-2, but it's too early... don't hear anything here.

The 160m antenna, the beam and the BigIr will arrive tonight with truck, as they did not fit in the aircraft. They are still running on the backup antennas until then. They plan to install a RX antenna for EU/NA today. Yesterday they had S9+ noise on 40m. After 20 utc even 20m and 30m were noise free. They also have logs online at Club Log, so please no dupes.

Good copy on 40M LP today at 1530Z but the wall of EU's calling him made it impossible for any other continent to participate.  Listening for specific regions would be beneficial. And, wouldn't it be nice if callers would abide by the DX Code of Conduct.

I posted the above just to show that 6O6O uploads to Clublog instantly the QSO is entered to their logging software (and I do the same by the way). The QSO data posted to Clublog by both of us (6O6O & VE3VEE) was matched by Clublog one second after the QSO was entered to our logs. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly or clearly. In any case, I'm very much impressed with the technology involved and with the fact that 6O6O is able to provide this kind of excellent "service".
