Icom IC-7600 with ver. 2.0 firmware.  I am having a problem programming to memory 6 meter repeaters that have a frequency split for receive and transmit.  I have gone into the “OTHERS” menu and changed the FM Split for (50M) to -1.000 MHz  and set the proper tone.  When I push the “SPLIT” button for 1 second, the sub VFO changes to 1.000 MHz less than the main VFO, as it should.  Hit the PTT and the repeater keys up.  Now I want to save this station with its split frequencies to a memory channel.  I find a blank channel and press “MW” for 1 second and it writes the main VFO frequency to memory.  However, if I recall this channel it does not include the sub VFO transmit info as a “split frequency”, only the main VFO. It’s as if it hasn’t saved all the info that was showing on the screen.  As such, the repeater does not key.  There is nothing in the instruction manual that covers the programming of split frequencies to memory, only simplex frequencies.  What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Joe – N1VJJ
