Let's see.....over 315,000 "views."  Methinks Martin is a master bullshitter or wannabe writer.

So, Martin - it has been quiet on this thread for nearly a year now.
Are you on air??

I just saw these posts. I am not yet on the air, but it will happen. To avoid adding to K8AXW's suspicions, I will avoid making any prediction about when it will happen.

Edited to add: I did finally build my transmit-receive switch. See "Homebrew" forum.

Yes. Although the pictures of excavation, moving boulders for the coax run was a bit over the top.

Martin:  I get on here to try to help or advise those who sincerely need help.  I'm no expert on anything by any means but I do have 62 years of experience to fall back on.

After communicating with you several times trying my best to help you I finally came to the conclusion you have no interest in getting on the air.  All you want to do is talk about it.

Oh yes, if what you show in your photos are indeed your work, you are a very talented homebrewer.

With this, you'll no longer hear from me.  I'll waste no more time with you.  I do wish you good luck, rather it's finally becoming a ham or polishing your writing skills.

Hi Martin,

How is it going on with Morse code exercising?

I think it is not understood by other contributors on this thread that your hobby is retrospestic, forwards to the past, something like that.
Pity that your intensive antennawork is lost when you move.
Keep Morse alive by exercising, because the real retrospect works CW only, xtal exited I suppose. Which band are you going to use?

Thank you for your interest. For the past two years life has been difficult both on the personal and work sides. Ham radio is just a hobby and other things have to come first. I will return to it at some undetermined time in the future. I don't want to say any more because people apparently want to take me to task for the very long delay.

Which band are you going to use?

40 meters.
