Hope UN Headquarters keeps it ham radio by allowing actual operators on the ground instead of making a joke out of it with remote operations. It can be done by allowing operations on the grounds, not inside the building. This was done as recently as Oct 2015.  https://dxnews.com/4u70un/

The operation was successful, and they uploaded to LoTW within a couple of days.

I'm glad others see thru the BS & realize what a complete joke Internet remote operating really is. Guess what? Without any Internet service you don't make QSO's..................It's 100% FAKE amateur radio.

Great news from the President of the 4U1UN Club, James K2QI. Remote equipment, rig, and amp have been donated and delivered, and testing should start in August.

See https://dx-world.net/whats-the-issue-with-4u1un/

A big thank you to James and the people who donated the equipment.

Excellent news Graham. Fingers crossed it works out OK for them.
