Take a decent amount in your pocket, and just store some more in your vehicle!  Smiley

I agree with the previous post'er: flea market sellers (like I occasionally am) will usually not take checks. I got burned at a hamfest several years ago when I was given what turned out to be a bad check ("account closed").  The moral of the story for a buyer: bring cash. Cash never bounces.

CASH for sure Does Bounce.PLENTY of FAKE 20,50,& 100 dollar bills out there being passed every single day.

Bring whatever you are comfortable spending in cash. As stated, flea market sellers pretty much all take cash, your vendors will also take plastic. I don't normally spend a lot at hamfests... usually just searching for odds and ends and seeing friends.

Amusing comments, especially about large amounts of cash in small denominations.  Here's a thought.  Cargo shorts have  lots of pockets to stash that cash.  And, if, when you've "had enough," you still have your shorts stuffed, you could always ask a few vendors if they'd like more change.  Fifty ones can turn into a couple of 20's and a 10 real fast that way before you go out the door.
