Hi Tom. I LOVE cows, not literally, of course. I have a very rich friend who has a farm here in Florida, One of my jobs is tending the herd. We have a huge bull that is very, very tame. They are like big spoiled dogs.
I even have a picture of my favorite 'lady', on the screen of my smart phone.

Looking forward to the event.

Well summer is here and

"Summer's here and the time is right for..................Cows in the street"

Don't worry fellow bovine enthusiasts just like churning ice cream all good things take time. I'm installing new HF antennas this weekend in preparation for the KØW Special Event. Within the next few weeks KØW will be on 'da air. I will post the exact dates here just as soon as I have everything all squared away.

I have sent numerous emails to both the ARRL & W5YI Special Event coordinators requesting the use of KØW but as of yet no reply's. This is now week 3 of trying to get a hold of anyone at either organization. The dates in which I am requesting have no prior reservation for KØW...............I'll keep on trying.

 I give up.

For exactly ONE MONTH I have tried requesting the Special Event callsign of KØW. I have sent request after request with zero reply's. Today I deleted all info regarding KØW from QRZ. Thanks for nothing ARRL & W5YI Special Event coordinators..................Hopefully others will have better luck obtaining a 1x1 callsign than I did.

Mod's please delete this thread if need be.

I like cow especially in ala mode ribeye.

My advice to a cow, if you don't like being eaten, run fast.

Have fun all.
