For those interested, got an email from www.flagpoleantenna.com (John Kimball KL2A). Most of you know John was with the Force 12 company that went out of business.

A commercial grade, 25Ft flagpole comes in at right around $500.

Makes the antenna abt $250, fairly cheap I'd say.

Has anyone received an antenna from these folks, ordered one 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a thing about shipping date! They are nearing the 30 day FTC limit before they have to ask my permission to delay the product or ask if I want a refund!

Update on Previous post

Its now been 9 weeks and 3 days since the order has been placed. The vendor says "Order has been Processed" but
can provide No tracking information.

This beginning to look like VAPORWARE !

I just noticed they added more products (antenna tuners) to their product line. Who are the people behind this company? They're VERY vague about that.

This looks like a good product.  If you get it before July, please let us know how it runs.

Yeah, did you see the prices?

I don't think the price is all that high when you compare it with the prices of other commercial multi-band vertical antennas.  The performance is probably about as good as any no radial vertical but it is after all, a compromise antenna.   And if you live in an antenna restricted area, it's a lot better than no antenna at all.

I wonder how difficult it would be to roll your own?

11 Weeks -- NO shipping notice -- NO antenna -- NO refund
Looks like I'm out $549.00 Dollars

Don't know who posted this but it's certainly relavant

Perhaps a ZeroFive flagpole would be a good alternative.  a couple of friends have one and like them.  At least this company delivers the product within a couple of weeks or sooner.

Well Folks, It will be 3 months tomorrow that I've been played like a fiddle with this order.

IN response to my numerous complaints about the delivery time, I received an email with the following
info ...

"I do see your eHam reviews and trust securing 1 of 2 packages headed your way sets you more at ease that we are not vaporware."

How quaint! I ordered a flagpole antenna and all he shipped in the order was a FLAG!

Now I've been informed that the antenna has been shipped, but again, NO Tracking number, but did provide the
following info....

"The second tracking # will be posted to your account when it is entered into the system. This may or may not be before it arrives at your QTH."

Hilarious !!!!!

Good luck Folks !!!

How disorganized are you, or how crap is your order fulfillment system, that it could take longer to enter a tracking number than actually deliver the thing? That's impressive. Though I guess we are also all spoiled by Amazon. Cheesy
