That depends on how many times the definition of pretty bad changes, doesn't it? That's as nice as you get for now.

I'm not sure what you mean.  80 meters has some areas in the phone part of the band that have strange noises.  I can't figure it out but consistent frequencies which is strange.  The CW area of that band do not have any of this noise for some reason. 

In regards to the behavior on 75 meters by actual operators I think we can all agree it sounds like a bunch of CB people with a license to use modern radios and a lot of power.  That makes this hobby look really bad.  40 meters is not really much better I'm sad to say.  Hopefully it will get better.
