I am here at work eating lunch before work. A ? comes to me . I wonder which age bracket 18 to 22 year olds ect has the most hams. Just a thought. I also wonder what is the average age of a ham radio  operator. Enquiring minds have to know. Have a Joyous and Blessed Day. Be safe.73s

Jesus give me patience.  Keep me focused.

I'm sure there will be lots of speculation in this thread, but there's no way to know.

Back-in-the-day, date-of-birth was included in U.S. license information -- but no longer.

And world-wide ... who knows?  Wink

Well I just ate my lunch too.  We have a lot in common.  But to answer your question 18 to 22 year olds really?  I think from the on air stuff I hear and on this site 50 to 80 years old.  Angry old men.

God be with you my Son.

Poll will show you something similar https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?threads/age-of-the-ham-population.192856/
Except we're all a decade older, supposedly.

I don't know Oliver what do you hear on the air in Brazil?  Young people or old?  Do they act respectful?

Are you referring to chronological age or developmental age? Big difference.

KM1H: Carl, do you still make the Clipperton L parasitic suppressor kit?  Sorry, but I have no other way of reaching you except chasing you around here. K3GM

First of all this is not click bait I thought it is a valid ?. Second W.T.T.C strikes again. Third the example of 18-22 was an example. I am guessing the upper age brackets will hold the majority.  Anyway everyone please be safe and Enjoy the hobby.

Jesus please give help to those who need it. Also keep me focused.
