I recently turned on my amp and heard a pop, then watched the Ip and Ig needles peg when keying input power. On standby with zero excitation, Ip on the meter reads 360mA, Ig reads zero. With CW input at 80W and an MFJ-998 tuner into a G5RV Jr., I read about 750W forward, zero or so
