Hi!
Im ptetty fresh  in the linux world and have just been starting to use Xastir and Rpi with the Compass image.
I know it is possible to get additional map servers/sources in xastir any information found on the internet is written by people that know linux for people that know linux.
Is there a simple tutorial for installing additional mapservers in Xastir?
I would like to use a Norwegian service called "Statens Kartverk" that is the Norwegian official mapping office.
By using this server I will get better quality  on my maps and more updates.

Xastir supports so many maps!  That's a good thing and that's the problem...

Your specific problem is you have to figure out what kind of maps "Statens Kartverk" uses and find the instructions for those kinds of maps.
