Assembled AM Experts.... I have bee trying to get a login to amfone.net for months now and no human ever responds.

I get through all the registration process but no password or account ever appears.  I've tried my personal gmail account, my work email, nothing works.

Does anyone know the site admin ?.

Thanks and Merry Christmas !

I never been able to register for many years on that site. I think they purposely close down the site to new members at least 5 years ago.

Posting here is probably not the answer. The staff list of AMfone is available to anyone:
http://amfone.net/Amforum/index.php?action=staff
If you have a problem logging in, contact W3JN, KA1KAQ, or K4HX. Click their name/call under Administrator and their e-mail address will appear.
Over 2300 members. Seven new members have registered in December.
There's no magic or mystery here.

Pete,

I'm not asserting any mystery ... just absolutely no response to poll over months.

I looked up the individuals you referenced on QRZ (the site won't show you the emails without being logged in) and emailed them.

Fingers crossed..

Merry Christmas

I just gave up, I had an account, it refused to let me log on saying there is no such used so then I thought they purged all the inactive accounts and I tried to register and it came up that I can't because I am not allowed to - I am a bot or something like that.

I still go there and read new posts, but the site is messed up to begin with, there are errors that keep popping up, especially the top/banner area - "Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/11/d132647312/htdocs/Amfone/mkportal/include/SMF/smf_out.php on line 47"

I sent email to 3 of the listed site admin's ... after looking them up on QRZ

I will post the outcome, if any.  I also re-registered and it let me use my work email (gmail is a no-go)... but no response,  so far.

Hope it works ... It's a very informative group.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.

Roughly 20 applications waiting for approval. Probably most of them are spam related and obviously will be rejected. Since it's the holidays, administrators may be off doing other things since they have a real life too.

There's an AM forum on qrz.com  If you have a qrz login you're all set:

Actually turned out to be very simple. Your user name which you can pick MUST contain your CALLSIGN or SWL or it gets ignored (kind of a bad call, IMHO)...  Any way Pete thanks for pointing me at the admins... they fixed it and were super nice about it.
