I cannot take out the power cable of my Yaesu FT-450D.  It sounds stupid, but I cannot take the power cable out.  The radio was never used in the last 3 years due to my health problems. Would you please e-mail me a picture how to remove that cable.  My email address is boristheo@earthlink.net.
Thank you.

On the top of the plug is a "tab".  Very hard to see.  Take an object and press down on that tab, while putting light pulling pressure on the wires.  Remember light pulling pressure, not much, you might push then pull on the first attempt,  Push down on that tab with a few pounds of pressure.  I use my pocket knife blade to do the pushing. Small screwdriver would work.  The tab is on the top in the middle.  It has very little movement.  I hope this helps.
