Can you tell the difference between the 2 ic7300's. Do they function exactly the same? I take my one radio between work and home and barely get any time to use it. Just to keep it from getting banged up, instead on setting on the back seat or floor, I found a unused pelican case that I put it in for transport, I've nearly never treated anything with so much care, except a musical instrument.

That would be great if you would stop by.  We could compare our mobiles.  I have the ft891 and there are several parts of its operating system I do not like. I would really like to see your 7100 install. As for the 7300's, in my opinion they are the best value in HF radios available today. There are better radios, but if you weigh features and performance per dollar, in my opinion they are on top.
