I can’t get my Kenwood V71 Radio into crossband mode.
It doesn’t even have the menu 403 etc...

When I use the MCP-2A program it doesn’t even give me the option in the menu for the crossband capabilities.

It did when I first got it.

I have done a full reset on the radio 3 times still no luck.

What’s up? Anyone else ever have this issue?

No, the two I have work fine. What happens if you set a pair of frequencies and power off then up holding down the tone button?

Since it worked before, you must have a K model and not an E model which lacks the feature.

You cannot access menu 403 while in single band operating mode or in the weather channel mode.

I never make a mistake. I thought I did once but I was wrong.
