I've been here a few weeks as ZeissIkon.  I had to register that way because I had no call sign.

That's changed -- I took and passed three levels of Amateur examinations (Technician, General, and Extra) on Saturday the 16th, and was notified of my call sign yesterday.  Henceforth (once the staff finish updating my login) I'll be KX4QP.

Congratulations! Hope you enjoy your new privileges.
I see by your screen name you must have  Zeiss and Nikon lenses. I have a Zeiss and several Canon lenses. Just a hobby for me.

Congrats!  if i remember correctly, your old posts will no longer show ZEISSIKON but will also switch to KX4QP when the change is processed. Old posts in which you are quoted (like this one) though will show your old ID because of the way the quote function here pulls the ID in real time...

I had to go all the way to the ULS to find you callsign. It's there! I wonder why QRZ has not updated yet.

Maybe because of those who run that site. I find eHam a much better place.

QRZ is a different type of site. I use it for Callsign look ups, and it is usually up to date.
