I have a Henry Tempo 2000. It has about 200 watt output on 80m even into dummy load. Normal output on other bands. The band switch is o.k. The load control doesnt seem to have any effect on 80m. Any ideas?

Most likely there is a padding capacitor on the load and maybe also the tune cap, one or both could be bad.  Most likely the padder on the load cap on 80.  Sometimes the contacts on the band switch that switch in that cap go bad.  The padder cap and the switch have to both be checked.  Lou
