I have a 2518 amp and I want to use it on a radio that only has 10 watts max output. What needs to be done to the attenuater circuit of the input in order for it to run a full power at 10 watts. Something either needs to be deleted or at least made less. Thanks K4KAK

Nothing can be done to make the B2518 run full power with only 10W drive.  It doesn't have the gain to do that.  It's 160W output for 25W drive power, and there is no input attenuator, it's maxed out.

With 10W drive you should get about 80W output, though.

To create enough drive power to yield 160W output, you'd need an IPA (intermediate power amplifier) stage which amplifies your 10W drive signal to the 25W level.  The "low drive" amp models, which run full power with only 10W drive, do contain that extra stage, which is why they cost more.
