Hello all..

I have a AL-811 linear and the tubes will not lit up when turned on.
There is high voltage, looks like 15.5 KV
The plate current bounces around a bit. the switch might be nasty.
I took all three tubes out and I listened to them
while shaking them a little. One of them sounds like something is broking inside.
I left this tube out and put the other two back in and nothing. Do I have to have three tubes in the linear to operate.
Nothing looks burnt or busted <g>

Thank you in advance.
