Hello all

I just picked up Ft-920.
It appears as if the prior owner cooked the transistor in the amp keying mode.

The band data cable does work, as far as changing bands. I was considering using the TX tp ground connection, and using the relay instead.
I never keyed the FL-7000 this way. But it looks that it should be ok....thoughts?

Thanks
John

Thanks Jeff

Yup. The transistor is "kaput". But the TX grond works fine. And the amp still retaains auto band switching.
Now...just need to figure what mike the 920 likes best.
