My first ham radio-related mailing (other than my license) was also from LPS.  This was in 1977, and yes, I ordered cards from them.  I save the image from the eBay listing, but can't figure out how to paste it into my post.....  Fun memories - wish they were still around.  I use "Cheap QSLs" now...

Got novice in '58 so I sure remember LPS.

In the nostalgia mode, how many remember the Walter Ashe (in St. Louis) cards?  They were also perfect for novices.

My first QSL cards came from them in1967. WN4FVP. Later on got WB4FVP from them. My next batch came from 73 magazine. They had some nice designs.
