CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SPEED UP THE SCAN FEATURE ON AN ICOM IC-2100H ? I HAVE OWNED ON FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS. THEY ARE TRULEY GREAT RADIOS, BUT I WOULD LIKE HAVE IT SCAN THE MEMORY CHANNELS QUICKER. IF ANYONE CAN HELP OR TELL ME HOW TO MODIFY IT TO SPEED UP THE SCANNER FUNCTION, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I CURRENTLY HAVE IT SCANNING ABOUT 8 CHANNELS, BUT I HAVE NOTICED WHEN IT IS SCANNING, THAT I DOESNT GO FAST ENOUGH TO CATCH THE FIRST OF A TRANSMISSION. THANKS

I've own one of these for about a year, and to the best of my knowledge, there isn't a way to speed up the scan.

If the future, Robbie, please do not use all caps. It makes for very hard reading.
