I won't deal with him again.
Radio not as advertised. I paid for next day shipping, he waited two days and shipped by ground.  He told me on the phone it was  the FT-897D, it is an older model.
He advertised radio as 1 week old.  S/N. shows
date of December of 2002.  I bought the radio from
him in March of 2004.  Smelled of cig smoke.
He said txco installed, it is not.
I would try for a refund, but don't think I could
trust him again for anything.

Why say "No" for somebody else?
Why be beaten without even getting in the game?

Ask him for the refund.  If he stiffs you, then you can REALLY hate him.

Isn't there already enough hate in this world, that we have to add to it by a misrepresented ham radio sale?
