Just put a mk -2 inline with my 500cx. Any special precautions running with no alc. The Transciever is at good tune, and barefoot the signal is clean and 2.7 kc wide...With the right tune the amp should follow, I would hope. As long as I do not over drive it. Right?
At present I have no scope...so I just wanted to be extra carefull
thanks

ALC was very important when we had to tune up. Now, with solid state everything it really is not needed unless you drive the daylight out of the rig. Watch the ALC on your rig & that will suffice. The amp will follow.
