Yeah I remember this ad when it was aired on the radio ads back in the days when drinking and ham radio were one in the same. Have a joyous day. Making ham radio a truthful hobby like it used to be. Wow. 73ss and 10-4 over and out for awhile taking a powder and seeing the doctor got some serious medical issues.I know i will get slammed but I will not be here to see it. If the tree falls in the forest did someone cut it down or will you hear it from afar.10-4 good bye.

...back in the days when drinking and ham radio were one in the same.
That still seems popular in certain circles. As does drinking and posting online.

Making ham radio a non political beer drinking hobby like it used to be before the end times.

Long ago there was an article in QST about hams building a 80m vertical soldering beer cans together.  Back in the day when beer came in steel cans.  "Sip and Solder"    Cheesy

You aren't old enough for that, pipedreamer. You're making ham radio a liars paradise with every post. Besides, how did you 'see' the ad when it was aired on the radio?  Roll Eyes

Yeah, a checkup from the neck up is in order here. Nurse Ratchet will be here for you shortly. In the mean time, here is a musical interlude for you Chucky.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXOwNOf2QXY

Is the 'powder' so often mentioned in "...gonna take a powder for now..." actually covered by the Affordable Care Act?

I didn't see a single one of the Captain CB images there anywhere. But the one highlighted was nice.
