Hi,

I have an external QSK similar to the QSK Master. I bought the Ameritron EBS-1 electronic bias board and installed it yesterday. In the CW position it works fairly well showing 50 mils of resting plate current. When I switch to the SSB position it jumps to around 180-190 mills which is effectively about the same with the SSB setting before.

There is a line from the remote QSK to the amplifier for to provide for biasing control. What is required to control the amplifier bias with the QSK switch.

I need to break the bias control voltage inside the amp and feed that to the remote QSK.

I'm guessing it is the white wire leading to the amps relay as that wire was removed, attached to the ebs board and a wire from the ebs board was ran back to that terminal. I'm not sure if this is the wire I need to use.

Is anyone familiar with the Ameritron AL-1500 and knows which wire needs to be tapped to in the AL-1500?

Thanks

Gary
