Hello all,
I have a Drake L4B that I would like to put on Six.
I don't care if the conversion is a total gut and rebuild or just lose a band like some of the SB 220 conversions. The amp will be used for portable/rover contesting. Other options, find or buy a 6 meter amp in the kw range. Budget is limited.  Thanks for the help, I am sure that this has been done already.

Would you be interested in selling the L4B instead of gutting it?

Why not sell something as rare and collectable as the L4B instead of ruining it?

You could probably get enough money to buy a good six meter amp.

Yes, I will sell the UNCONVERTED amp.  I just ordered a truckload of "stuff " from RF Parts.  I have no idea what this amp is worth.  I got it 2 years ago at the Grayslake hamfest from an estate sale.  I have put about 1-2 hours on it.  It will put out 1100+ watts on all bands.  I just got married and moved (unfortunately, CC&R resticted) and lost manual. Can anyone tell me how this might be worth?  Should I list it on e-bay?

If you are interested in selling it or trading it, either give me your e-mail address or my address is dcoffman@iquest.net.  I would be interested in a trade or purchase.  I can also be reached at 317-834-1950

Thanks,
