Hats off to the Six Meter Club for another great Fest.
Attended the Fest Sunday, 18 June, at the DuPage County Fairgrounds. If I make one Fest a year, it's Wheaton.
The venue is convenient -- at least if you're 1 3/4 miles off the end of 27 into ORD.
The admission is reasonable. So are the concessions -- no $2.00 a cup for INSTANT COFFEE.
The venue is reasonably compact and fits the "crowd".
Facilities, including the heads, are in reasonably good shape for a public venue.
Drive-in and sell out of the trunk. No tables required. No dragging gear to & from the parking lot.
Not too many "What's That?" questions.
If more Fests were like Wheaton, Fests, in general, wouldn't be "in trouble".
