Good morning,

My AL80b shows a 2.3/2.6 SWR to my rig on 40/80 meters and before I adjust the inductors for those bands I'm wondering if there is any interaction among them...should I tune any particular band before the other or does it not matter?

Thanks/73,

Nope.  Independent circuits, switched in separately.

Is the tube good? Full power and low SWR all other bands?

Tube is good (I "assume" - amp is new), good SWR on other bands.

What part of the band are you operating in? Is the SWR good on one end of the band?
