I can make my 746 and PW1 communicate, without the HRD.
I can make HRD and the 746 communicate without the PW1.
I bought and used a spliter as soemone suggested (mini male to two
females) and cannot get all three to work together.

Any suggestions or insights from someone who has solved this problem?
I would really like to be able to use all three.

Thanks

I've not done the interface you're asking about, but if I had to take a stab at it, I'd say it is an address problem. The Icom manual will give you the default HEX address of the CI-V port, and sometimes you have to change it to make things work as they should.

I have solved the problem. I had been using a DigiMaster USB Multiface to communicate between the computer and the 746. When I switched back to a seriel direct cable, everything works as it should.
Thanks for your help.
