I'm interested is using my Ten-Tec Jupiter for PSK31 operation.  Since it already has an RS-232 port on the back, is there a way to make all connections directly to my laptop or do I still require some sort of interface?

If your Ten-Tec is like my FT840, the RS232 is used only for CAT control so you can automate your rig with a PC. It has no impact on how you connect to the sound card. You should plan on using a conventional sound card ham interface for PSK31 and other new modes. Perhaps you will build your own interface...

Note: the soon to be released MixW 2.0 will have support for rigs with CAT ports.
