Hello All,

I recently came across a cable made by BuTel called the IF2A. I want to purchase a ready made cable.

I need to send frequency change data to my IC706MKIIG from my FBB BBS software.

Does anyone have any experience with this cable?

Or perhaps recommend another cable proven to work OK with the IC706?

This IF2A cable sells for $39 and "sounds good" so far.

Any and all comments are most welcome

Looks like it will work, a lot less expensive than the Icom CT-17, CI-V level converter.

Did you get it? There are a lot of people making similar cables/boxes.
