Could someone explain to me my icom manual?  I have a picture of a mini din and pin-out, but I don't know if that's the view of the connector I am working on in the cable or if it's the view of the radio jack.  Left and right could be backwards if I don't get this right.  I'm close to getting on APRS, but since I'm not a previous packet user I have lots to learn.
Thanks!

DIN plug   Time owned: months
The DIN plug is the same used on PS/2 keyboards and mice. Just get an extender cable and whack of the female end. I got one at RS and it even turned out that the wire colors for the pins matched the resistor code Smiley
