since i do not want to use two different TNC's (kam+) and SCS.  want to configure the system to utilize scs
ptc iie.  cable good, software adequate, no problem with airmail and digital e-mail.. but having difficulty with fec and navy mars,  with baud rate of 100 i get bad reports on unproto 1 or 2, and same using fec mode... have cut the amplitude of signal to
120mv from factory 140 mv.. but stations on net can not copy fec signal test?Huh but switch to airmail and send and receive e-mail with mbo at will???  every test sent report is same, garbled?? or no copy at all and can not tune signal in  mark and space set up with 200hz shift so that is not problem??

Is Navy MARS using Pactor FEC or Amtor FEC? In some areas I think they are still using Amtor FEC. If it is Amtor FEC then you also have to be concerned about the polarity (see the TRX command).
