Tonight I am modifying the interface cable and mic connector to accomodate my used 8 pin M8 rigblaster.  It seems to be straight forward enough ensuring the mic audio/grd ptt/grd signals go where there supposed to.  Does anyone see an issue with doing this and running this model with a 520?  I think I remember all was well, but it's been a while since I bought the unit.

Thanks and 73, Doug, W7MEX

I think the only problem with those rigs was the -65 volts on the key line.  I ran rtty for quite some time with an 820 but I used the phone patch inputs and outputs so I wouldn't have to keep disconnecting my microphone.  Don't know if the 520 has those or not.  Good luck!
