Just got scammed out of $400.00 by an 92 year old ham. His call is W8FIR . He lives in Miamisburg, Ohio. He presently has 7 adds on QTH.COM. Once he cashed my check he won't answer his phone nor his e-mails. Did not do my home work   in detail before I sent a check. Be careful guy's. We have a bunch of dis honest hams now days. 73,Boyd W0BUW

Are you sure that someone didn't steal W8FIR's ID?

He probably became a silent key during the transaction.
