I am looking for a copy of a schematic for the 1270/1274
or more importantly the value of resistor R140.

Here's the scoop:

This is an old TNC my wife used to use.  She used it with
the old classic the HTX-202... According to the 1274 manual some radio's like the 202 require you to add jumper JMPL (which I removed) and reduce the resistor value on R140 (which was done)to key the PTT.  I am  trying to use this TNC with a Yaesu FT-8100 via the data port on the back and the PTT will not trip (no it's not a wiring problem)... Any other ideas??? I am assuming it must be this resistor value.  Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

My 1270C manual shows the value of R140 to be 47K ohms.  You made me get out my reading glasses to read those itty bitty little letters and numbers HI HI
