Recently tried Hamscope in CW mode using a Dell P4, MFJ-1279T interface and TenTec Orion Transceiver. It Receives fairly well, but when I try to send code from keyboard, the code keyed at the transmitter is not what I typed?? Example, I type "a" and "r" is keyed, although the window shows "a" sent. The Arial font is selected in all setups in Hamscope. Any suggestions?  Thanks

if you read the donner digital  website they discuss the hamscope problem there. and what it say is that it is the dell computer's system that is at fault. that dell uses some sort of very low power signaling that most interfaces wont process properly. but they do offer some help there on a remedy aswell. so before you get to upset check donners website.

now before you start to tell me that your not using a donner i understood that  it is just the problem is universal  with dell not the interfaces. and i assure you i am not picking on dell there great computer's it is just a glitch in the system is all that can be  overcome i hope this sorts helped de:jeff/n3jbh
