I would like some help on this subject.I have the AL-572 with the ARB-704 and the cables all hooked to the FT-100D.With the +12VDC hooked up it tells the amp its keyed up with no RX unless I unhook the +12VDC but if I dont have the +12VDC hooked up the amp wont work.

I would appericate any help I can get.

I suspect you haven't set jumpers correctly. Reread the manual about setting the jumpers. See pages 4 and 5.

The FT-100D should direct key the AL-572 without the ARB-702 interface. 2 x check max current draw for external amp keying to be sure.
