I have an old 813 amp that was given to me some time ago (see http://www.geocities.com/artus1947/old_amp.html )
and iron from a Johnson Invader 2000 power supply.  I would like to salvage parts here and there from the units to create a modern amp.  Would like suggestions about tubes, designs, etc.  Any thoughts are greatly appreciate.  Years ago I had a Loudenboomer with a 3-400z that I really liked but I am not sure the RF deck would lend itself to that tube.
