From dxer.org:

ZD9 – Tristan da Cunha – September/October 2014

Paul, ZS1S, will be active as ZD9ZS during the September/October time frame. Another operator, from England, will be identified later.

No further details.  Here a link:  http://dxer.org/

Very exciting if this happens this year.

That's great news.  I need ZD9 on all bands except 20m.  I hope he will be on the air daily and give out plenty of ATNOs.  GL to all.

I thought I saw this listed earlier this year, as I have ZD9ZS on my needed ANTO list of upcoming expeditions in the shack....Oh well, good to have the reminder....and we'll be tuned into this one for sure.....Desperate for ZD9 & haven't had an ATNO since Mellish Reef.....

This will be an ATNO for me.  Only heard one ZD9 operation in the past.  Haven't got a new one since FT5ZM and it was E40VB before that for an ATNO.  They get fewer and farther between when you hit 320.

This is one I don't need anywhere so you won't find me in the battle anywhere except maybe one or two if they're lonely on the low bands at some point.

Would be nice. I only have one 20 m SSB QSO from a couple of years ago. That was a few days trip, and just one op, so I was happy for that QSO to take it off my list.
Has anyone heard Pierre from Gough I this year?
Best I heard him was ESP level last month. Apparently he could hear me, but his signal was below the noise floor and quite unreadable. Bruce ZD7VC was 59 here at that time, but he was using a beam.

My one and only Q was on 20m LP.  I missed an earlier one-man dxpedition.  I wasn't able to hear him.  In hindsight I probably should have pointed the antenna on the opposite direction Cheesy

I will be looking for this one from the killer DX station, the Chevy pickup. I missed the last operation in Sept 2012. Plus 3D2CR Conway as I was on vacation out of country. You know...hauling bags around for the wife !

ZD9 what with likely big pile ups, could be tough to work with my DX station.
