As an alternative, you can run Android as a virtual machine on your PC.
Although I've not looked at the link, this may be better than a VM

Just what we need. Android Tablet Apps on a PC and a crummy PC OS AKA Win 8.1 (or Really Terrible OS) on a Tablet.

Just had a look at the link. It's all about games that look cheap on an 8 bit machine and trying to look hip and trendy.
If you have a P.C. why would you use castrated programs when you can use the "full fat" versions that are native to your machine?

Its a work in progress. It is basically a emulator and not sure what level Droid it supports at this time. They said it not a good choice for games.

Downloaded and installed it on a WIN7 Pro machine.  The first app I tried to download, Words with Friends, never completed the install.  Uninstalled it.  Not Ready For Prime Time.

I would not rate it on just one app.
