The call sign must be written on the front page of the seller's local newspaper.

The masthead, headline and date must be readable.

People still read print Newspapers?HuhHuh

I like your idea. You have a good imagination. However it would not work even if a ham had a print newspaper:

The print is too small in relation to the object being photographed,

back to reality...  I say again...  Too small!

Gosh I hope he does not come back to this thread........  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Stan:

Most of the counterfeit currency circulating in the U.S. is now made using COMPUTERS AND PRINTERS.

IF U.S. CURRENCY CAN BE MADE AT HOME, WHY NOT F.C.C. LICENSES AND QSL CARDS?

There's an old principle in audit and control work:  IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO GET YOU BAD ENOUGH, TRIES HARD ENOUGH AND LONG ENOUGH, THEY WILL GET YOU!

DUH?

What about hams like me who only operate VHf & UHF FM and don't have QSL cards?

What are we supposed to do?

I suppose I can buy a color post card and photoshop my call onto it.  And say that's my QSL card.

THE ONLY THING THAT WILL KEEP YOU FROM GETTING SCAMMED IS BETWEEN YOUR TWO EARS!  USE IT!

Make the QSLs up on your computer. That takes about 10 minutes. Does anybody even sell QSL cards anymore? I use MS Publisher. Better quality than I ever ordered in the mail. Plus I can change the design if I get tired of the old design. I use Avery 3381 stock. Don't know how a QSL caed would be more real than a hand written sign.
