Tay was one VERY unique guy!
He was, in all honesty, one of the kindest and most understanding guys that I've ever met!
He ALWAYS had a kind word and thought for everyone....and had a kind of "quiet" and dry sense of humor!!!!
I knew Tay for about 20 years. We first became aquainted in business, and then later in our "ham radio mode" spoke of many things "radio related".....especially moonbounce, microwaves, etc....
He was without a doubt an "experimenter"! And we are all going to miss such a talented ham!
Tay was not only a great ham with experience in microwaves and moonbounce, but also an Emeritus Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University....
And Tay also worked on numerous space programs, including the Galileo Project....
I will miss him, but will always remember his kindness and hope to spread it further along.
W6HD, God Bless and 73, my friend!
