Rich was one of those amazing people who was involved in everything, yet always had time for a chat over a cup of coffee.
I remember him as a early fan and user of FM repeaters, and computers. I remember him as an antenna experimenter and author of antenna articles in "73." I remember him building a hand-crafted operating desk, and putting up the first 100' tower I had ever seen. And I remember him inspiring his mother, father and wife into getting their amateur licenses.
And, besides all this, he ran a solo Chiropractic practice (about 60 hours a week), collected, restored and showed classic Thunderbirds, was founder of the International Thunderbird Club and editor of the club's newsletter, "The Script." Whew, makes me tired just writing all this.
Rich leaves behind his YF-Sandy (WB3CNZ), two daughters, Risa and Amy, and many friends. He is missed.
