Tom passed away Friday morning, November 17, 2000 as a result of a sudden heart attack. He was just preparing to leave town with his mother for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Tom was the type of guy who'd give the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it.
He was always volunteering for any event that came up, and he was always the one at the ham club with the most HT's and newest gadgets. Every week he'd bring some new kind of toy to show off.
Tom had just passed his code test and had already passed his general and extra exams and was looking forward to enjoying DX privileges.
He'll be deeply missed.
