Roger was a ham and deticated DX'er for 64 years.
Roger was a ham's ham. He knew his stuff. He had time to talk to the lowest operator to the best. He was a great DXer. Had a great place to operate from with the biggest towers I had seen until that point. He loved working on big amps and big antennas. He even had a Sterba Curtain up for awhile on 20 meters. He was always loud. He spent time in India and operated from there as well. He is a legend
I met Roger when I was a kid in the early seventies when he was posted to Hyderabad.
His SB200 is with me, in mint condition.
I wanted to talk to him with his Linear, it
never happend. It is a pity to lose such a
Stalwart
Roger was an excellent ham and a better friend. I miss him dearly.
