Stony, was my friend. Although I had only known him for 2 years and there was a 25 year difference in our ages, he was a dear friend.
Stony, I found out was one of 2 students in the 40's who got to work with the great Albert Einstein. It was more of a gopher type job but neverless what an honor. He had a bachelors in nuclear physics and a doctorate in biochemistry. He was also head of electronic test equipment project SETE for the Dept. of Defense. He also supervised one of the largest antennas for the U.S. Army. Stony was unique, he had a knack for making you think outside the box. He always had a kind word for all and was a regular at our brunches on Thursdays.
Stony, I'm going to miss ya.
